Underfloor heating
underfloor heating, systems, henco, warm floor, radiant heating, heat, comfort, unipipe equivalent,

Since Roman times underfloor heating has been used as an effective and economical means of heating our homes.

Today most underfloor heating systems are of a warm water type which heat the whole floor providing an extremely comfortable radiant heat which reaches into every corner of the room.

Underfloor heating is more economical because losses through the fabric of the building are less, because air temperatures are lower for the same comfort levels, the temperature at the ceiling is much lower as the room is heated. from the floor upwards and transmission losses through the pipes are lower because the water temperatures used are much lower than a standard radiator system.Running costs can be up to 20% lower than a traditional radiator system

The latest HENCO underfloor heating systems from Mutipipe, are used extensively throughout Europe, incorporates an aluminium mutli-layered pipe which gives the benefits of both plastic and copper piping.

The butt welded aluminium PE-RT pipe provides a 100% oxygen-tight diffussion barrier, providing high resistance to pressure and temperature. The pipe remains flexible and easy to bend at low temperatures whilst retaining its bent shape.
